At Walnut Grove Event Center, a cherished family-owned and operated business, we are dedicated to making your dreams come true, whether you're planning the wedding of your dreams, a joyous birthday celebration, or a successful company event. Our extensive range of wedding and event amenities ensures your venue experience is tailored to perfection, creating unforgettable memories for every occasion.
TERRY & LISA BUSH
Terry and Lisa Bush own and operate our family-run business. They are always available to help you with anything you need. When their own children were searching for affordable wedding venues they realized how expensive weddings can get. As a result, they decided to convert their home and opened this business. They wanted to provide an affordable and hassle free option for couples. They strive to make your time at Walnut Grove as stress free and relaxing as possible.
“Our goal is to make you feel at home on your special day. Planning events can be stressful and we do all that we can to help alleviate some of that stress. We want you and your guest to have an enjoyable and memorable day at Walnut Grove.”
CONNOR BUSH
Connor, the youngest son of Terry and Lisa, runs the office of Walnut Grove. He oversees the daily operations of the office. Manages administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, responding to messages, and billing. Most likely, when you reach out to us you will be working with Connor. Connor has a degree in education and taught high school public speaking, communications, and theater for seven years.
“As a former teacher, it is ingrained in me to want what's best for everyone I work with. Teaching has made me understanding, helpful, encouraging, sympathetic, and logical to name a few. I utilize these skills to help our clients with any needs that may arise when using our services. I hope to connect and make great relationships with you!”
TAYLOR & HANNAH BUSH
Taylor is the middle child of Terry and Lisa. He and Hannah were one of our first couples to get married at Walnut Grove Event Center in 2017. They bring great insight for couples planning weddings and events. You will see Taylor and Hannah the day of your event to help with any items they can. They will also be at the events in the form of security and day of management. They are very approachable and look forward to making your special day as magical as theirs.
“Planning weddings and events can be a lot of pressure. We want to be able to provide experience and insight to couples that might feel overwhelmed. Having first-hand experience planning our wedding at Walnut Grove we have some pointers to offer. It takes a village and different perspectives to achieve the event of your dreams and we are here to help!”
LACEY BUSH
The eldest child, Lacey, helps with the day of operations of the events at Walnut Grove. Lacey has worked closely in the wedding industry in the past. She has even worked with brides as a vendor before. She brings first-hand experience that may help couples feel at ease with their experience with us.
